Tarangire National Park covers 2,600 square kilometers and at dry times, the concentration of animal’s rivals that of the much better known Serengeti – the game numbers are staggering: E.g. 30,000 Zebras, 25,000 Wildebeests, 5,000 Buffaloes, 3,000 Elephants, 2,500 Maasai Giraffes and over 1,000 Fringe-eared Oryx’s (gemsbok), Predators include Lions, Cheetah and Leopards.

Early morning at 05:45am take your breakfast box and proceed for Sunrise game drive till 09:00am drive back to the camp to take your luggage.
Then proceed with a full day game drive en route with picnic lunch to the crater rim via Olduvai Gorge Historical site, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time.

After breakfast, descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a 6 hours of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site (hippos pool).
Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, golden and black backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains. Unmatched for its natural variety and breath-taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size.
Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
